Objective

The objective of the program is to equip the participants with effective credit appraisal skills for project and infrastructure financing, through classroom sessions and case studies. The aim is to enable the participants to appreciate and understand the various risks involved in project and infrastructure lending.

Faculty Profile

The conference will deal with the following topics:

• Margaret (“Meg”) Osius delivers management-training seminars on international project finance, trade finance and capital markets to organizations worldwide. She also advises a variety of corporate, private and development bank clients structuring green-field projects and facility upgrades in the oil, gas, power, telecom, transport and other infrastructure sectors.
• Ms. Osius has published articles in the business press and co-authored several self-study guides covering international project finance, trade and export finance and foreign exchange.

• Ms. Osius was Chair of the Technical Advisory Panel of the Public Private Infrastructure Advancement Fund (PPIAF) managed by the World Bank. She holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD and a B.A. degree from Princeton University.
